Tim's fears are realized when Tim sees and hears Boss Baby chatting on the phone about a secret, world-wide plot that will affect babies and pet dogs. The parents immediately are eating out of Boss Baby's palm, while Tim harbors reservations. "The Boss Baby" begins with the tiny title character being integrated into the lives of an older brother, Tim (Miles Bakshi), and Tim's parents (Jimmy Kimmel and Lisa Kudrow). The story places the viewer up close to a suit-wearing, taxi-hailing baby (voiced by Alec Baldwin), and his cunning, under-the-high-chair interactions with his new family are fresh, witty and mercifully free of the almost-pornographic-style visuals and sounds that colored stink-fests like "Dirty Grandpa," "The Hangover" and every other slob-humor release that was paraded into theaters over the last five years.
It's not "The Hangover" or "Dirty Grandpa," and thank the mighty stars in the sky it isn't.ĭreamWorks Animation's new movie, "The Boss Baby," is the funniest film to come along in ages.
